My Hikvision NVR is recording everything, but I've lost event recordings in Hik-Connect app

Hi everyone,
I recently had the firmware updated on my Hikvision DS-7604NI-K1/4P NVR. I also took the opportunity to update the Hik-connect app to version V6.0.0.0924.
My live feed and playback is all working fine. I have my device set to continuous recording on all cameras and I can scroll through and watch all the footage, but for some reason, I am not receiving any events through the app. Previously this wasnt an issue but now, no matter what I try, no even recording. All my notifications are on and i have the device notification setting on ''Receive Events and push notifications". Its driving me nuts as everything else is working and recording just fine. How can the app be able to show me days worth of recordings but no event recordings?
Is this down to a setting that isn't configured properly on the NVR?
Any advice you can give me would be greatly appreciated.
 
I have the same problem since yesterday. In my opinion, this is a problem on the hikcenter side. notifications work on WiFi, on mobile networks they do not work. when I enter the application, the events are visible, but without notifications
