Hi all, first post..
I'm researching for a while for a camera to capture the general scenery around me (hilltop, rural area) that can also zoom in on e.g. animals etc.. I'm also enthusiastic about sky and weather photography. Security is actually not an issue in this case.
Therefore, my needs are good zoom, fair landscaping angle, ability to pan 360 and tilt from a few degrees below the horizon to straight up.
I'm looking for one camera to do it all, so obviously there will compromise. I also learned that mounting a normal dome camera upside down is not a good route due to standing water and possible mechanic issues.
I'm doing my final "screening" on this model: EmpireTech ptz1a2m-25x / Dahua PTZ1A225-HNR-XA.
I saw good reviews on both the camera and the seller, but then I see the camera is EoL: PTZ1A225-HNR-XA - Dahua International
My question is, providing the firmware as it is is great and there are no bugs, how much should I worry about it being EOL? What warranty will I receive from Andy?
Thank you
