My first attempt at installing Dahua Video IP intercom for a client went well, very chuffed! Client is extremely happy with setup except one thing - the ring volume from Dahua VTH is feeble.
I want to avoid complex code and opening the clients new VTH to bridge or solder components! The ringtones and ring volume on the display are awful.
I have 2 ideas, Plan A using a doorbird IP door chime linked via a switch to the Dahua Door station to boost the ringtone. Plan B using an Ethernet-controller board, connected to a generic 12V Door Chime in the ceiling or wall mounted above the VTH.
Please advise: Has anyone used doorbird IP Door Chime A1061W with a Dahua Door station? Is the configuration straightforward and is the doorbird loud?
Plan B Connect a standard 12VDC door chime through an ethernet controller board, to the Door Station.
Many Thanks
Harry
