I have IP cameras plugged directly into a newer Hikvision NVR. I have generated IP addresses in the NVR for these cameras (e.g. 192.168.1.244:64008, etc). With that URL I can log into the camera settings but it will not show a live picture - just settings. I did enable ONVIF in the cameras settings after logging in..
Now, I have other IP cameras not plugged into the NVR directly that I can access online and see perfectly video perfectly fine. Just issues with cameras plugged into NVR PoE.
I am trying to add these cameras that are connected to the NVR PoE to my automation system. Without the Onvif URL / URI, I cannot add them. No problem adding the other IP cams that are not connected to NVR to my automation system. As soon as I enabled ONVIF in those cams, the automation system could see them and add them.
I tried Hikvision batch tool. Can see my NVR and added it but when I get to ONVIF CONFIGURATOR, I add a name / password etc and I get a failed message.
Any help? Can't see anywhere in NVR to get ONVIF URL. Tried SADP AND BATCH Tools - again can see NVR in both tools.
Thanks for any advice.
