All of my outside stuff is covered, purchased from Empire Tech, so would prefer to buy from him again. I'm using 4MP low light variants -- a few variable focus, 2.8, 3.6.
Mainly these (but do not want to use variable FL if I don't have to):

I need something for an inside room 19'x19' and only place it can be located is in a corner. Can't do 2 of them with opposing corners due to access restrictions, some something with a good 270° view that will also cover (as much as possible) the door and window which are about 18" from the corner wall.

These requirements don't math.

You want to place it in a corner (90*).
You want the FOV to be 270* (3/4 of a circle).

Can you post a picture or drawing of the room/area to be covered?

I guess my space relations : degrees is off. In any event, it's a square room with the camera going in one of the corners. I tried a 3.6 turret fixed before I mounted it outside and the FOV was too narrow. I have a 2.8 showing up tomorrow for a different area, I'll try it there first & see if it works, then just order another one if it does. Thought they might have made something specific for this type of application. I realize the right way is 2 diagonal opposing cameras.

It just depends on what you are wanting to accomplish with the camera.

If it's going in a corner, then most 3.6mm offerings should be fine since they are usually 90*. A 2.8mm will show a lot of the wall on either side since they tend to be around 110*.

Try the 2.8mm though. It might work fine.

Yes -- I need the walls covered, that's what the 3.6 is missing.
The room is an addition with glass to the outside on the 2 opposite walls to the camera and the adjacent walls have French Doors into other parts of the house.
Thanks, I'll see if this works, camera should be here tomorrow.

For reference, this is a 2.8mm on my back porch. Install height is around 8'.

The 2.8 worked. Grabs everything I need. The opposing glass is a little far, but not a big deal since that's covered from the outside anyway.
Thanks.
