Hi everyone,

I tried to modify my current settings for license plate reading, especially at night. For the most part, the day is perfect (haven't tried it with the setting shown below because I've been trying to modify it for night time). However, during the night, my LPR camera captures the following image with the license plate being unclear; still cars are readable. I've attached my settings, so please let me know what I should change. Thanks in advance!

You need a faster shutter, more zoom and a better angle.

Make the shutter 1/1000 or 0.1 to 0.1 - 5ms is too slow. Do not do a range.

Drop NR to 30.

Just changed the shutter to 1/1000, dropped the 2D and 3D NR levels to 30 each, and zoomed in a bit more. Unfortunately, that's the best angle I can have a LPR camera because that's the spot where it's not an eyesore on my house. I'll repot back after what I see tonight with it now.
