I have a Reolink NVR (RLN8-410) with 4 Reolink cameras active. I was given 3 Hikvision DS-2CD2042ND-1 bullet cameras. I understand that Reolink will not guarantee that non-Reolink cameras will work with their NVR's. I have seen posts elsewhere advising that 3rd party cameras can indeed be added. However, I have never seen guidance for specifically adding Hikvision cameras. Does anyone have experience with Hikvision cameras working with Reolink NVR's?? If so, can specific guidance be given as to physical connections of cables and specific settings that need to be made either to the Hikvision cameras themselves and/or the Reolink NVR?
