As title says I'm looking to view the feeds from about 60+ Cameras from multiple locations on the same compound all on the same LAN.
I'm using a mix of geovision and uniview IP cameras. Currently Running BlueIris.
I have tried the Geovision IP Decoder Boxes they can do what I need for up to 64 IP Cameras and this works flawlessly when it works.
When it doesn't its just a huge PITA. Some cameras randomly show codec error, always disconnecting etc but its only on the decoders not at the NVR...

Any other solutions for this?

I'm curious...what does the "Geovision IP Decoder Boxes" do for you that IP cams, POE switches and Blue Iris doesn't do?
IOW, what necessary role do they play in your layout?

Well the all work together....

As I stated in the title, I need to be able to view All of our cameras from multiple offices (This is where the GV Ip Decoders are Installed) .

I'm not sure I quite understand what you mean by IP CAMS, Switches and Blue Iris doesn't do for me..

The function as they would in a regular setting, Cams connected via switches to recorder/blue iris.
I just need a secondary way to have monitors in different offices to be able to view the cameras 24/7.

I don't necessarily want to setup additional PC's running BI to just monitor and not record the streams, hence the Decoders which does exactly what we need except its very problematic...

That explains why you have the IP decoders......that was not mentioned in your first post.

BlueIris is recording all of the streams..

there is zero issue with blueiris or recording.

I am simply looking for a way to ALSO view all of the streams from multiple other locations.

Currently Server with blue iris is recording from the server closet.
In 3 managers offices we have monitors that displays All camera streams (GV IP Boxes). In our Loby we have a monitor (Again GV IP Decoder)that displays Cameras in and around the building so anyone in the area can monitor what’s happening around in realtime.

All I am looking for is A solution to replace the Geovision decoders as they are not very stable with lots of cameras connected even though they claim 64 cam support.
the lobby for example only has about 6-8 cams and the streams are flawless.
the ones in the offices with all 64 channels populated constantly give errors like camera disconnected, codec error, “connecting“ etc.

Hope this clears things up a bit..

You said you had "...mix of geovision and uniview IP cameras" and the cameras were "all on the same LAN."
Here's my question: Why do you need the PITA (your words) Geovision IP Decoder Boxes ?
Why not send the streams from the IP cameras directly to the Blue Iris server?
Is it because some/most of the cameras do not provide a stream that can be viewed in Blue Iris?
Or is it because each of the offices have large monitor for viewing the cameras in that building?

I think that he's using it in the opposite way - to view the cams in the various office locations in lieu of having a PC there. i.e., just that box and a monitor.

Assuming so, no idea about the GV box but you wouldn't need to have a PC running BI to view the cams. You could do it using UI3, the web interface for BI on any PC just using a browser.

correct these decoders Don’t need a nvr/recorder to view the streams they decode the cameras directly, no pc needed all powered by Poe so makes life convenient. (If they worked)

Other than the issue of getting a PC to the location of the monitor, doesn’t UI3 time out after a while?

You can set it not to. And you can set it to a full-screen mode that's basically like a kiosk. And different camera groups and rotations, etc. , etc.

I guess if I can’t get a direct Replacement for the IP decoders this will have to be an alternative with a mini pc. The convenience of the box is that it goes right back to where it left off after power outage etc. will look into it thanks ..

I'd think that you could do the same. Set the PC BIOS to restart after power loss. Run the browser on startup. Have that as the default page.

Will put some added load on your server but if you're running 60 cams I'd guess that you have a decent box behind it.
