Hello. I have a slightly different use case for my cameras than security.
I have a digital signage company and I am looking to show video replay on a TV screen. I would like to utilize IP cameras to do this and would appreciate any insight and guidance you can provide!
On the TV an HTML presentation will be playing. When a command button is pushed it can switch screens to show a local URL stream. This is all done through the LAN. What I am looking to accomplish from the IP cameras is a couple of things.
1) Provide a HTTP Live stream URL that can be utilized in my presentation
2) Delay the video by 30 seconds. What I want to show on the screen is the previous 30 seconds of video.
What I am looking for is:
1) Hardware recommendations. The facility is in a well-lit facility. We are able to run cables without a problem. We are looking at putting 2 to 5 cameras.
2) Software recommendations. I was looking at Blue Iris but we do want 1080p video which it seems to downgrade.
