Getting the hang of it

Hey guys,
I joined the forum maybe 2 weeks ago, to ask some questions and try to get caught up with others who are using Blue Iris and Deepstack. I just set up my first camera last month. It's a Reolink and I've already ordered a Dahua to replace it. The low keyframe rate of the Reolink is killing me. Replacement comes tomorrow. I will eventually be adding more cameras to my premises. My Blue Iris "PC" is a Windows 10 virtual machine running on my Unraid server. My CPU is a Ryzen 5950x with 16-cores, of which I have 4 pinned to this VM. Don't ask what the rest of my hard drives are for, but there's a WD Purple at the way bottom of that stack.

Ryzen 2700 and WD Purple user here saying hello, 4 Dahua (Andy/EmpireTech) cams recording 24/7, use around 10% of the CPU and less than 4GB of my 16GB RAM. More cams are in the location testing phase.

Lots of great people on this forum. Glad to hear your dumped the Reolink for Dahua.
