Hello,
I'm a low voltage electrician journeyman apprentice. I do this full time and before this I studied IP video surveillance as a hobby in my spare time, and the majority of my prior training was self taught. My first camera was modest TRENDnet IP camera that I used to train in the fundamentals of IP video. I eventually stepped up my repatoire to professional grade and have a heavy background in offerings from Axis and Bosch. I primarily install Hikvision, IC Realtime, and my new favorite after Axis sold out, Avigilon, as the majority of my work with latest employer.
I don't know why I became addicted to IP video, I think it's kind of nerdy but to tell the truth, I don't care. I love it and it's me. I geek out to it after work and love doing my own projects and helping others in my free time. I hope to learn from and contribute to a team of like-minded individuals here.
Thank you.
