Hi, just registered after finding the site while I was looking to see if Reolink cameras would work with another make of NVR-I have a RLN8-410 and a RLN16-410 that are causing me problems (not seeing all cameras). All cables (POE) have been replaced and tested, double checked and both NVR fail, the latest firmware is installed. Has anyone else had the same problem and bought a different make NVR that could be recommended. sorry its been mentioned before. Kinlar

Regardless of who makes the camera, the best practice is to match brand of camera with brand of NVR.

ONVIF cameras allow for some cross-use, but some features may or may not work.

With that said, Reolink tends to be more picky and would be best to stay with a Reolink NVR.

Which NVR do you have? Not all NVRs are created equal and you may be exceeding the capacity of the NVR, either with MP or bandwidth limitations. And if that is the case, then you would need to upgrade to a stronger Reolink NVR.

Oh I missed that were the NVR numbers.

That is the same NVR just 8 channel versus 16 channel

How many cameras and which models and is it only certain models like a 180 or fisheye camera?

I would now look at it as overloading the NVR.

For kicks try a bitrate of 2000 and FPS of 10 and see if the NVR stabilizes.

If it does, then you know the NVR is underpowered.
