New phone, no notifications

So my push alerts were working fine on my old phone, then I got a new one and used the Samsung smart switch to transfer everything over. I'm set up using zero tier to access the cameras, which I can do even from the new phone. I'm away from home but connect to my computer using a remote desktop. My new phone is checked in the mobile section of settings. I'll post everything I've tried so far. This is an Android Samsung phone

My Blue Iris version was pretty old, so I updated it to the most stable release. I believe it's 5.9.4.11 now.
I uninstalled the Blue Iris app on the new phone and reinstalled, but it went straight into my cameras so I knew it didn't complete, so I cleared data for the app and reset everything up.
I've deleted all the devices from mobile devices and added the new phone back in. I even added another phone in just to see if I could get it to work. Both are able to access my cameras through the blue iris app and through the zero tier lan in the browser. They just won't give push alerts.
I tried setting up both email and text alerts for both phones, and all of them work fine if I hit the test button, the alerts do come through.
I've read through the years here about people rebuilding databases so I did the repair/regenerate first, then followed it up with a delete/regenerate when that didn't work. It didn't help anything.
When I log in to blue iris, the alerts are all there. The log will show push OK to the mobile device, but I can't actually get the push to either device.
I'll retry the old phone tonight when I get home from work, but I'm posting here hoping I'm missing something easy.

Did you allow notifications for the app on your phone?

Yep, notifications are turned on on the phone. Since the text and email alerts work, at least with the test button, I'm assuming the issue lies on the phone app side, but it's 2 different phones. I'm pretty sure everything exactly matched settings with the phone that was working, but I'll check again tonight.

Can you get other notifications on the phone? I'm guessing yes and that doesn't follow since it's another phone too.

I'd tend to think on the phone side too since BI shows OK. It must be connecting to Google's server to set up the push and sending. If it gets that far, then it should be good.

Under alerts, do you have the alert for whatever cam sent to a specific "Required mobile device tag" (name)? I know you can't check now but are they still being sent to the old phone?

I don't get any Blue Iris notifications on 2 different phones, but the old phone was working perfectly. I just got home and tried it now and after re-adding it to my mobile devices it doesn't seem to be getting alerts either now. I've had this working for years and honestly don't remember how it used to be set up, and for all I know this newer version of Blue Iris has options that weren't there before. I'll load up some screen shots to show how it's currently set up. I went ahead and removed the other devices other than the one that I want alerts going to.

I don't see anything wrong there. Looks the same as mine and as I remember it and I haven't changed anything. Mine is IOS and I have a name/tag for the phone (but that shouldn't affect it) and I use that tag for some cams. But I haven't tried to add a phone lately.

What happens if you deselect the "Use legacy GCM" box? I don't know Android well.

Maybe send an email to support.

Selecting or deselecting the Legacy GCM box doesn't seem to change anything. Alerts are on in the app, I've tried turning one off and leaving on off as well. I'm going to look deeper into things today when I have time. It hit me that after using the Samsung Smart Switch to transfer phones, zero tier just worked on the new phone without having to go in and add it, so maybe I have some kind of conflict there. But then again, I can use the mobile browser to go to the zero tier LAN IP for the cameras and access everything fine, so I know I have communication with everything. Technology, great when it works, but you'll pull some hair out getting it to that point!

Yeah, not sure. VPN should be good if you can get there and view things. Windows firewall should be good too since it's usually set Any/Any but might switch it off to test just to double check that.
