I'm currently running blueiris on my old file server consisting of Windows Homeserver 2011, xeon 3960, 12 gb ram. I have 10 4mp cameras running about 60% load on my processor. It is getting old and is fairly power hungry.
So I have decided to build up new file server with I7 7700k at the heart of it.
What I'm not sure of is what OS to use. I like the ability that HS 2011 let me back up all of my home computers and easily restore-able.
So in short, I need my OS to be cable of
1 client computer back up with an easy restore feature.
2 run blueiris 10 4MP cameras
3 plex server
