I aimed it at my pellet grill control panel while I had a brisket going last night to monitor grill temp and meat probe temp... :)

...at midnight after an hour in the smoker grill...

Isn't watching the temp on a pellet smoker like watching the temp on your oven... :rofl:
Sure is! Totally worth it when you have a $50-$60 piece of brisket in the pit. You sure as hell don't want to have an auger jam or similar that results on the smoker going out.
