First post after reading a ton and searching posts.
Here is my setup.....
I am testing out 2 Amcrest 4k turret cams at full res and 15fps.
I am comparing blue iris running on a i5 laptop vs a amcrest nvr.
I really want to use bkue iris as i will eventually have 10-12 4k cams for my house.
I understand i will need a i9-9900k buuld to handle that amount. But for now....im in testing mode.
Can you all weigh in on these issues?
Blue iris:
Seems there is a 1 sec delay while viewing it from a monitor and moving in front of the cam....is that normal?
No firewall, antivirus....and all settings checked and per the wiki posts.
Second........the blue iris app vs the ui3.......
The blue iris app seems like the zoom function is far less that when using the Amcrest view pro app for the NVR. Any ideas why?
Also when using ui3 on the same network.....(cox gigablast) i get a worse delay from the bideonvs real time.
Any helpnwould be appriciated.
Also.....is the i9 overkill?
