Nightmode not working for Asecam cameras

I have installed few Asecam cameras with an Asecam NVR couple of years ago. During day the picture is very good for all of them. But during night, it's all just black for all cameras.

I think it used to work before and i was getting good picture at night too, but i'm not sure when it stopped and just became black.

I bought the cameras and the NVR from their store on AliExpress:

  • New 4K 8MP IP Camera Audio Outdoor POE H.265 Onvif Metal Bullet CCTV Home 4MP Color Night Vision Security Camera

I contacted the store on AliExpress and they sent me a zip file with couple of applications in it. According to them, i should use the one called IPCBatchTool to update a setting called Lamp, but the application is not listing any cameras in my network. There was also an application called VMS in the file which has the same settings as when i connect the NVR to a monitor, and it actually lists my cameras (grouped under a same IP address because of the NVR) which confirms that my computer has access to them. I turned off firewall and everything I could find but IPCBatchTool still does not see the cameras. Additionally, when i ping the NVR ip address, it gives me responses back.

After this, the store's replies are not useful at all.

On the NVR, there's a "Light set -> Operating mode" setting per camera, but it's set to "Off" and cannot be changed. I don't know if this is related, and when i asked the store about it, they just replied that "It cannot be changed, dear friend".

Does anyone have any suggestion on what to do next?
