I've got a simple setup i.e. a DS-2CD2232D-I5 connected straight into my PoE router and takign it in stages before I configure fully.
At the moment using the hickvision client software I can view the live stream on my laptop over my home wifi and can also view the live stream over wifi using an iVMS-4500 on both android phones and iphones.
When using a mobile connection I can setup the device no problems as I get confirmation when I change the device settings but the display on th emobile just shows 'starting live view' with a black screen and a continious small loop in the centre as though its tryign to get the stream.
Ok, so I thought ports. I forwarded ports 80, 8000 and 554 and still the same.
Then I setup the camera in the DMZ and still the same.
The thing that confuses me is that if I use other camera apps on my phone such as tinycam or IP cam viewer I can the the live stream no problem over my 3g/4g connection so it can't be a port issue surely?
