Im trying to set up noip ddns so i dont have to keep changing ip address in blue iris.. On the noip update host page which host type am i supposed to use?
Dns host a
Dns host rr
Dns alias
Port 80 redirect
Web redirect

You also need to forward a port for Blue Iris, through your router, and unless that port is port 80 then you need to enter it in the blue iris app too. While you are at it, disable UPnP in your router otherwise your cameras will literally expose themselves on the internet and make themselves a target for hackers.

Sorry what ip address am i port forwarding? The pc blue iris runs on? Not good at port forwarding

Yes.

I suggest you pick a random high numbered port (10000 - 65500) and use that as the external port. Then the internal port number is whatever you have Blue Iris listening on (usually 80 or 81) and the local address would be your Blue Iris PC's IP address (usually 192.168.x.xxx).

Of course every router's port forwarding interface and terminology is different but hopefully you can figure out what is what.
