Not getting Email notifications....Gmail

I rememeber this being an issue a while back and now it's happening again.
Nothing has changed in the email settings. I can do a test email and it succeeds,but I never get the actual email test. Anybody have this happening again?
Has something changed....again?

If it's successfully sending that means it's going somewhere.
But it could be getting dropped at any number of steps along the way.

Check the most obvious first which would be spam folder or any rules you might have setup.

Yeah,spam was first thing checked. Not there. I even created a new "less secure password" and still not working.

I had to make another apps password and it's working again.
