Notification email test error

Hi everyone,
I can not configure email on my dahua dvr. I have try different ways but the same thing test error happen please let me know how to configure it and i have some questions?
1.Do i have to change anything in TCP/IP part?
2.Is it a must to use a static or dhcp ip adress?
3.What about dns server?
4.How to fill email part in dvr menu as in the photo?

Also make sure less secure apps are allowed in your gmail settings.

Thanks for your replay.If i can ask you do i have to change dns setting on my dvr.Do i need to change it to my laptop?

I'm not sure what your DNS is set to, don't think you mentioned that earlier but when peoples ask me what they should use for DNS, I point them to Cloud Delivered Enterprise Security by OpenDNS - this is a free DNS service you can use. This service allows you to block certain categories and also has threat intelligence on the backend that it references so that malicious sites can be blocked also. You should check them out. OpenDNS was recently acquired by Cisco.
