Glad you were able to determine the root problem.
Just a side note about the geofence part... I don't set the timer for delay alerts and I am using geofence also. Mine seems to change states just fine as I am turning onto my street with the 50 meters radius. You can change this setting in the phone app to be farther away instead of making it delay like you have it. I would try setting it up different in distance before messing with the delay alerts.
