I thought i had a hikvision setup, but i'm starting to suspect it's just a knock off. When logging into the NVR web portal it's NR30P8-8.
Anyway, I have an 8 channel NVR - with 4 cameras activated at time of installation. I bought a new hikvision IP/Dome camera (DS-2CD2135F-IS) and hooked it up to the NVR and set it up on the same subnet as the NVR and other cameras. I can connect to the camera directly with my laptop on an empty NVR port.
My issue is, i can't seem to get the camera ONLINE in IVMS 4200 Client nor using the web admin of the NVR. I've tried several combinations of, editing the camera port 5 and setting to manual and IP address of 192.0.0.64 (camera 5 IP), switching back to plug and play changes the camera port to another IP address (Different from the camera). Switrching from protocol IPCAM to ONVIF and back etc. All the other cameras are set up as plug and play on the NVR
Can someone tell me what could be wrong .. i've spent hours on this and can't figure it out.
