Hi, I need some help with remotely accessing POE cameras for a NVMS7000. I am abroad and I am trying to help my mom since someone broke into her car and she can't access the footage so I need to access it remotely. She is not technical at all and I am just a step above her. The remote access has been broken and she never mentioned it and I am 10,000 miles away.
I do not care about VPN, security or none of that stuff - I just need to fix the DNS port forwarding that was somehow screwed up so I can access the footage to send to her. Yes, I know exposing to the internet isn't great, but it's not really a concern of mine right now.
I have access to the router on the app as well as the configurations set on the LTS app. I was also able to access whatever was set up in no-ip to do the port forwarding.
I see a port reservation on the router (EERO) that there is a rule to port forward and I know the last time I saw this in person, the cameras can be loaded on the LTS app while on the home wifi. I can also see that it says "local device" on the LTS connect app. I think the remote access worked before when it was on the NVM27000 app and that stopped working so it was moved to the LTS connect app but now that has stopped working.
If I can recall correctly, the NVR has port 8000 and it said online the last time I checked before I took off. It uses a user id/pw as well as the hostname created on no-ip but that's all I can remember. I know there isn't as much info, but if anyone has any idea or guidance, I'll take it and try to fiddle with what I can.
