I've been doing quite a bit of reading, but I could never get a clear answer on a setup question.
I'd like to plug my NVR into a POE switch, and my cams into that same POE switch, and then have THAT connected to my router.
I'm not sure if that will work though. Nearly every setup I've seen either has
1. The cams plugged into a POE NVR, and then that POE NVR plugged into the router.
or
2. The cams plugged into a POE switch, then that plugged into the router. Then the NVR plugged into the router as well.
I'd like to plug all of my cams into my POE switch, then my NVR into my POE switch, then THAT into my router.
I'm running out of ports on my router and this would help me out a lot.
Will the setup I want to do work?
