NVR internal storage drive

I noticed that my internal storage drive was showing up as "Error" in storage management of my NVR (LaView LV-N9508Q8E). I purchased a new one and I notice that when I plug it in, it sounds like it's repeatedly spinning up then shutting down over and over again. The storage management of the NVR says "not exist" when the new one is plugged into it.

The drive works fine in a computer.

I am guessing the NVR is not working properly. Anyone else had such an issue?

Sounds like the PCU is going out on the NVR.

Might be time to ditch the NVR then I guess. I use Blue Iris anyway. Thanks for the info.

There is a sickness in this country. I don't know what the quick cure is. People are emboldened to use the force of government to silence voices.

Not sure what your point has to do with internal storage, but if some mom accused me publically to be a "child predator" and of "luring children with pornography." , I'd probably take legal action too.
