NVR lost camera signal

Our NVR has lost the video feed from our camera. If we bypass the NVR and connect directly to the camera using VMS we get video, so the camera is fully functional. We can continue to monitor the camera this way, but it's not recording.

I disconnected & reconnected the camera, but still no video to the NVR. NVR says that it is connected but that there is no signal.

I would appreciate any suggestions as to what I should try next. Thanks.

If you solo it in the NVR so you see it? If so then substream got turned off.

If you dont see it in solo or multi-cam view, try a factory reset of the camera.

We don't see it in solo or multi-cam so I reset the camera but there was no change. As before, we can connect with VMS but not with the NVR.

I am thinking of trying resetting the NVR next, unless someone has another idea.

How many cameras?
What brand/model NVR?
Is the camera the same manufacturer as the NVR?
Anything 'New" before this happened?

Foscam camera, Foscam NVR. It is currently our only camera, although we plan to get more.

We have not changed or added anything, although there was another issue when this started. After the connection was first lost, I discovered that the IP settings on the NVR had been reset to default addresses. It was still set up for a static IP address, but the address was wrong. I don't know what caused it to reset; all of the other settings were fine.

Of course I thought I had found the cause of the problem, but when I fixed the IP issue and the NVR attempted to reconnect to the camera, it still didn't work.
