NVR password reset xml file - error 2022

Hello all,

Any suggestions on an error using SADP tool for setting my NVR password. Its been sometime and I just updated my NVR to V3.4.92 for my DS-7616NI-E2/8P NVR. I have been working with Hik via their support team and have followed all instructions. I have been back and forth and have been provided a new XML file 3 times. Each time I try to upload the file via SADP (using version they provided) and I receive a 2022 error. I am connected to same network, have not restarted and am wired per their instructions. Each time following up I report the error and look for direction but they simply send another xml file with same instructions. I suspect I will need to reach out yet again but thought I would check to see if anyone here has had same issue and figured it out. I've searched and could not find online, in boards etc.

Any help is appreciated. Going on day 4.

 
what's your NVR's serial number? specifically, is does it have RR or WR or CN in it?
where did you download the firmware from? uploading the wrong firmware can leave your password database in a bad state, so it appears SADP doesn't work.

when you browse to your NVR's IP address (put your PC on the same subnet to do so if you need to,)
do you get the login page? what does it look like? How about from the NVR console?

Hi,
I have attached pic of my DVR where you can find model, serial no. firmware ..etc.
Its default firmware which we received after purchase, i tried keeping the PC IP with the same subnet of DVRs IP and still observing the issue.
Am not able to do much in the login page without admin password, please help.
