My brother-in-law bought a 4K lorex 6 camera system and talks about how awesome it is. From my searching, reading and the wikis, I am confident a system can be built to clearly beat his system, I’m just getting lost with so much information.... information overload.
His needs: super simple to use so I’m thinking a decent Dahua NVR. He says no more than 4 cameras. I’m going with three 4mp starlights (5442) and one 8mp (to be determined) for daytime. All cameras will be Dahua through Andy. I anticipate roughly 300MP/s using 15fps. Must be able to reliably view on iPhone app and have hdmi out.
Can some of you experts recommend a quality NVR with POE for 4 cameras that is simple to use?
