NVR recommendations for existing LaView Cameras

I have six LaView LV-PB932F4 bullet cameras that came with a LaView NVR. Both the camera and NVR appear to be made by HikVision.

The NVR lost its video and appears to have degrading farther, so I can no longer use the software to get camera IP addresses, passwords, etc.. I don't remember, but I don't believe I ever changed the camera's passwords, so they are probably factory default.

I believe, but am not sure, that the cameras do all the processing and the NVR simply records. The cameras are all static, in the sense that there's no panning or zooming and ONVIF capable. Althouth, from what I've read that doen't mean a lot when using different brands of camera and NVR.

I need to replace the NVR. The system is not to be connected to my LAN. Since I'm not connecting to my router, I'm not worrying about intrusion into my system. It's a stand alone system that simply used to record video 24/7, human and vehicles in general. In other words, really basic.

IF you agree the cameras are likely HikVision, should I stick with HikVision NVR, or are other brands going to work with the LaView cameras just as easily?

Thanks for your input.

It is best to match brand of NVR with cameras to ensure full functionality. Those cameras are likely Hikvision OEM

ONVIF just assures that the video can be seen in another brands NVR, but other features may or may not work.

What do you mean by the NVR lost its video - like the POE ports on the NVR quit working? If so, a cheap POE switch will get you back in business.

By default the NVR assigns the cameras the same username and password as the NVR, so that would be the case unless you specifically changed them to make them different.
