I have a installation where I need to record video, maybe 6 hours a day for six months a year and then archive it for up to two or three years before the video would be needed if it is needed at all.
My question is: Is there a Recorder that can record in a format that can be readily viewed without having to use the Recorder it was recorded on.
Exporting and Saving the video to another Hard Drive seems to be to much work and to complicated for the people using it. Taking the Hard Drive out and replacing it is an option but what happens when that company goes out of business or changes their format?
