Any workarounds to access Camera UIs instead of implementing Port Forwarding on the NVR(s)? Im using the Amcrest Surveillance Pro client software remotely at the moment, but has its limitations. Went to Link to WEB in the software to access the NVR that way, but the IE link in the camera doesn't work but I am also not using IE. Any suggestions?

That should need IE to work, but the tourble is when port forwarding (outside of being hugely insecure) is that the NVR recognizes you are from outside and wont allow you to reach the cameras plugged into the NVR PoE ports, by design even using the IE buttons.

VPN like OpenVPN or Wireguard (both commonly built in to Netgear and Asus Routers)

For remote access I use Teamviewer remote desktop, so I can do anything remotely that can be done from home. Of course, the computer at home needs to be running. I use a laptop for for the remote client. There are smartphone clients but they're pretty tedious to work with.
