I need to setup a camera system for one of my stores which requires extensive camera coverage and 90 days storage. I'd like to get thoughts here regarding a setup.
I have setup HikVision cameras, Wisenet cameras, SmartViewer, BlueIris and that Hikvision NVR software as well.
I'm open to a hardware (Milestone or other) or software NVR.
Most NVRs don't seem to meet the requirements of my storage, I'm thinking I need to pair an NVR with a storage array.
Record at at least 10 FPS
90 Day storage of events, can use motion to reduce storage use.
Exterior 10 4 MP Fixed Cameras, 4 360s at 6 MP
Interior: 20 4 MP Cameras, 4 360s at 6 MP
Remote viewing via app and desktop. I will most likely use a VPN to facilitate this.
This system needs to be very stable and will be put on a 3 hour battery backup.
Based on the storage calculator, it looks like I'd be safe with 120 TB of storage if every camera had motion events 24/7.
