I am using Stablebit Drivepool in my NVR with a mish-mash of random old discarded 4TB disks, and I think sometimes it was getting a little bogged down writing some many megapixels since I did 24/7 record as well as motion, I have also cranked up the bitrate on most of my cameras. Sometimes I would get a jerky video even on export, and I think its due to the data being written to the drive poorly
I found a nice SSD laying in a drawer, so I threw that in as the landing spot for all my clips. It has 5.3PB Write endurance, and its brand new. So I should be good for a while
I just kinda chucked it in there... Ignore the dust
Here is my config in Blue Iris
