Good morning, I have an NVR2116HS - 4KS3 and I am adding a channel from an XVR4108HS, it is added without problems but I cannot use the SMD function, when activating it on that channel it gives me this message: the maximum threshold of the device analysis channel has been exceeded. I don't understand it. I only have that active channel of the 16 that the NVR supports, according to the characteristics the NVR supports AI (smd), thanks

How many channels total are being recorded on the 2116HS?

That NVR can only do 4 channels of SMD

So are you grabbing that channel from the other NVR or direct from the camera? Don’t understand how you are grabbing the feed?

It's not a camera, it's an XVR. Both the XVR and the NVR are on my network. I can see my XVR channel on my NVR without any problem, but it won't let me use SMD.

Ok I see. I've never tried that from an XVR channel.

Assume its an analog channel?

Are you certain none of the other channels are using any kind of AI by Recorder? The max is 4 and that applies to IVS/SMD/FD etc Total 4

If it is an analog channel, I have nothing else active, just 1 channel for testing, I will see if I can get an IP camera to test.

The NVR you are trying to record on, the NVR2116HS, has ONLY 4 channels AI by Recorder

Hmmm dont know other than it being an analog channel
