NVR5216-16P-4KS2E without using its built-in POE ports

My usual supplier only has the PoE version of this NVR. Is it possible to ignore its PoE ports and use it in a "non PoE" mode with external switch? I already have a 16 port Ubiquiti PoE EdgeSwith and would've liked to use it with the NVR.

I have my NVR setup like that, just as a inline backup next to blue iris. The camera's are connected to a PoE switch, and the NVR is also connected to that switch. The camera's are added in the NVR, and record 24/7.
