NVR5216 - no motion detection

I'm really hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I've spent a crazy amount of hours trying to get this going over several days. Have tried every combination I can think of. Reset. Started over. Again and again. I've searched. Read. Re-read.

Just have an NVR5216-16P-4KS2 and one IPC-HDBW4231F-AS. Only thing enabled is motion detection. When connected directly to camera, I can see the motion detection firing off with motion. But nothing shows up on the NVR.

Does anyone have any pointers? What more info could I provide to help?

I know I'm going to be embarrassed when I figure out it's been something obvious and simple...

No idea how or why, but it's working now.

I was about to loose my mind with this thing.
But, it's still working perfectly. So that's good.
