nvr5216 problem

i have try to install this firmware General_NVR5xxx,_Eng_P_V2.616.0000.0.R.20140813, i have take from this link, http://downloads.smartwaressecurity.com/files/index.php?dirpath=./CCTV-IP/Dahua/Firmware/NVR/NVR5208_5416/General_NVR5xxx_Eng_P_V2.616.0000.0.R.20140813/&order=3, but my nvr now is locked, i have only circular led arround enter key, can i recovery the nvr?
At moment dont start and it restart every 2/3 minutes how can install other firmware?
Is possible install any firmware from usb without GUI?

Do you know the IP address of the NVR? You can try the upgrade tool. Enter the IP, log into the NVR via the network, browse for the file, than click upgrade. But, it sounds like you bricked the NVR. Why were you trying to upgrade? Was something wrong with it?

Yes i know the IP address but not respond at ping. I try to upgrade because the tour of Cam not work propelly

If you can't ping the IP, than the upgrade tool will not log in to the NVR. You were trying to set a tour on a PTZ? Did you try logging into the PTZ directly and setting up the tour that way? I would have done that before upgrading the NVR with firmware found online.

hello, i have solved the problem, i using tftp server to send at nvr the file update.bin and lauch the command via rs232 ftom pc to nvr.

Do you have the order of operations or instructions to load update.bin via rs232 from pc to nvr? The Dahua TFTP upgrade instructor I have is for a DVR and not sure if it will be OK. I have the same problem with my NVR5208 and this thread gives me a bit of hope. Thank you.
