I joined the forums to see if anyone has a good offsite backup system that works with Hikvision NVR. Here is the situation.
I have two warehouses that I monitor
Warehouse 1 has a DS-7716NI-SP / 16 with 14 cameras. All POE from Hikvision.
Warehouse 2 has a DS-7608NI-EV2/8P with 8 Hikvision cameras.
I had bought them thinking I could use a NAS to create an offsite backup. I had seen a video online that suggested that. I have since learned that you can’t use a NAS. Hikvision suggested to use a local computer or server and IVSM-4200 then use something to get it out of the building. They said that the NAS feature may be turned on at a later day?
Ideally, I would like each days of videos to be backup at our main office via NAS in the warehouse to the NAS in the main office. Does anyone have a suggestions on how I can automate this process?
