New to this forum, and happy to have found you.
I have an older "heimvision" DVR and camera setup I purchased off amazon years ago.
The playback/record functions never seem to have worked very well, and now seem impossible to use. The camera/DVR response time is very slow. Also the previous flash player based app for windows does not work. After many searches I found a replacement called "seee" , but it also doesn't work well, except possibly for viewing live foootage on my android phone.
I'm wondering how I can use the cameras I have and/or this DVR to get things working. I have thought about replacing the hard drive, but not sure that will make any difference. I'm thinking a new DVR may help, but not sure how to find one compatible with the cameras. However, I have been able to find additional cameras on ebay in the past year or so which makes me wonder if there is some kind of standard with them.
