Hello,

I'm trying to get my Lorex cams to flash to Dahua firmware. I've read through the various threads but what doesn't make sense to me is what setup I need to get the camera to connect to the opentftp. I have ddwrt router, windows 7 laptop and I also have Ubiquiti fiber with their switch as well. I have been trying to setup the network on the ddwrt so that it's isolated and not my main network.

From what I understand, the camera will be having IP of 192.168.1.108.
My router IP is set to 192.168.1.1
My windows 7 laptop is set to 192.168.254.254 with a subnet of 255.255.0.0 and Gateway of 192.168.1.1.

I have also added a static route through the GUI with the following:
Destination LAN 192.168.254.254
Subnet 255.255.0.0
Gateway 192.168.1.1.

I can run OpenTFTP and it just say listening on port 69. Console.bat doesn't show anything either when I connect my camera.

I'd really appreciate if someone can explain this step by step. Thank you!

Just curious to know why your laptop is set to a different network subnet? If you are having trouble connecting everything, I would start by making sure all the devices are on the same subnet.

Furthermore, why are you trying to use TFTP with the camera at all? Are you directly recording to the camera's SD card and trying to use TFTP to automatically move those files to another device?
