Because of the Hotmail Auth changes, what can the average joe do for outbound smtp from say a camera.
Push notifications are annoying. At least email you can review at your leisure.
They don’t allow any incoming connections, but like to review the motion emails coming from their camera
They are asking their manufacturer, but I wouldn’t be expecting a lot (Swann/concord). I don’t even think it’s received any firmware updates.
If it was me, I’d have put in my own local postfix server. But for the average joe that’s probably a bit much. Especially when they don’t actually own a computer.
