Looking for an affordable servo that pans and tilts by remote for outdoor use.
I have a thermal camera similar in size to an IR turret type (although a bit larger) that I want to utilize in an outdoor environment to rotate and tilt. The camera weighs a pound or so. Something for outdoor use is ideal, but I can form a rain housing. As an experiment I ghettoed a camera to a boating industry light that tilts and pans and is controlled by wireless remote. The setup works, but the light is not needed nor ideally balanced like this and the camera would be better placed where the light is in the pic. I like having the light but I want the setup more compact and better balanced. This particular light was $150 so I'd rather not destroy it for the project.
Anyone know of a remotely controlled turn table that tilts which would handle a 1 pound payload?
