permanent remote console to BI?

I would like to have a permanent console linked to my BI system, hanging in the kitchen.
It's not the best location to stuff an entire PC but I can get network there anyway.
I've tried RDP but the frame rate is horrible to say the least. (a frame every 5 seconds?)
Has anyone tried to setup a permanent remote console to BI? I tried team viewer for a bit but it seems to eat CPU (which would make some sense if it's trying to keep the remote screen up to date as quick as possible)
 
I have been using chromecast. I cast the server desktop full screen to a monitor in anouther room of the house for months with out any issues.

I cast to a flat sceen tv so no you can't interact with that. You can using google remote desktop and that works really good. It works better than RDP and Team Viewer. Google remote desktop even works good away from home also.
 
I've moved my BI server from physical to VM and my new display in the kitchen is a Chromebox and the UI3 web interface.
I like how it looks and it works great with the touchscreen.
