I have a Hikvision DS-7608NI-12/8P recently updated to V4.6.025 firmware and I had to dismantle it due to fan noise. I cleaned and lubed the fan and resembled the NVR and everything worked except I had 2 cameras in the wrong port but they were all working.
After switching the cables, the NVR reported "Username or password incorrect" on camera 3. I have tried putting the cable in one of the unused ports but it does not see anything. I have tried manual;y add the camera and it fails.
I also get the report "Network not reachable". I could get the camera that was not working and asking for a password to work on another port and then the camera that was working would not work on that port. I can get the SADP tool to work on the port that was not working, but nothing I have tried will get the cameras to work now. After switching cables, I am now down to only 1 camera and the IP door station that are working.
The POE shows voltage being supplied to the no working camera. I can modify the camera IP though SADP so it seems to accept my password. The cameras are plug and play in config and the still working door station is IP though a switch.
Not sure what else to try and it is driving me crazy so hope someone can help.

After doing a reset, I managed to get the cameras working, but they will only work on manual adding the IP address. If I then select plug and play, the camera comes up with a user or password error.

OK, I got it all working, but still will not work if I try plug and play, cameras will only work from the IP address. I had a problem with the encryption stopping the Indoor station from displaying, but I turned it off at the NVR and that all works now. Any suggestions why plug and play camera connection does not work will be appreciaited.
