Hi guys,
May I please ask your opinion on these two cameras, which one to choose for a simple home video surveillance system?
I found two seems to be similar cameras so now sure which one would be better.
First one: DH-IPC-HDW2549EMP-S-PRO-ANZ ($171 AUD atm, was $260 before)
Second one: HiLook by Hikvision IPC-T561H-MU ($240 AUD)

They both have 1/1.8 sensor and F1.0 aperture but Dahua has only 6M bandwidth whereas HiLook has 16M.
However Dahua seems to be a better brand whereas HiLook is like a cheaper version of Hikvision. Am I deeply wrong?
I attached two specs for your convenience.

Thank you very much

You do realize that both of these cameras are full-color cameras, provide only white light for illumination if the ambient lighting is not enough and so they have no onboard IR (infrared)? They both likely are not receptive to IR even if supplied by external emitters.

Neither would not be a good choice if you do not have sufficient visible ambient light after dusk.

Is it bad? Apart from visual disturbance (which may in fact work as a kind of deterrent for bad people)? No, I don't have additional IR illuminator, but I do have LED outdoor light installed there.

And you said "Neither would not be a good choice if you do not have sufficient visible ambient light after dusk.".
But they both have large sensors and bright lenses - what else do I need to look for to get good-at-night camera without robbing a bank? :)

If you do NOT have sufficient ambient light and do NOT want the camera's visible white LED on all night then I would not get either of the ones you linked.

Instead get a 4MP camera with the same 1/1.8" sensor and has built-in IR and you should get decent images at night or under reduced lighting. Consider the IPC-T54IR-AS.

If unsure about focal length, spend a bit more for the vari-focal version, the IPC-T54IR-ZE
