Which is the best connection:
PoE switch is close to the cameras and far from NVR
OR
PoE switch is far from cameras and close to the NVR20241221_042857.jpg

Won't make any practical difference as far as the network performance assuming good cable, connections, and all. Probably easier to have all of your switches in one place. Depends more on your cabling to the cameras and how they're distributed, where you have power, etc. In one case you have N cameras x 100 meter cables all home run. In the other you only have 2 x 100 meter runs to two switches with shorter + N x 1 meter to cams. So less cable in the second case. How that works out real-world for whatever actual distances you'd have to figure out.

+1^^^.
Also, placing the POE switches near the cameras somewhat negates one of the advantages of using POE cameras to begin with in that if you place the POE switches near the cameras now you have to find a power source nearby to power those POE switches.

Since the NVR iteself must have a power source then it would seem more practical to place the POE switches there also so no need to try and power those POE switches out near the cameras, just run the POE line to the cameras. That seems cleaner and simpler to me.

Yeah, when things act up it's easier to diagnose.

Thank you for your responsed
But i mean which is better PoE cable is to be long OR Uplink cable ?

Either can be used as long as they can supply the proper voltage and current as required by the POE-connected devices.

As long as the POE cable is not over 100m/328 ft. and can supply the max current provided by the POE switch AND as needed by the devices it supplies then it's just as usable as the uplink cable.

In some cases a larger 23AWG CAT cable can assist with preventing voltage drop in higher-POE draw devices if using a long POE cable, which would be my personal preference in this instance.
