[Poll] Do you prefer to set up basic / smart event in the camera's GUI or NVR?

What is your go to, most reliable method? Camera's GUI or via NVR?
I've seen numerous differing opinions over the years and wanted to get the community's over all opinion.

The camera GUI is the best way.

Camera GUI hands down. Using the NVR to make camera settings introduces a whole host of potential problems with the many models and fw versions of both

I must say that when You doing 10+ cams systems in one day, then NVR interface for camera firmware update / image options / encode options / Smart Plan / IVS / Video Metadata is much faster way to configure everything..

And in case of Dahua and newer Dahua NVR (5xxx-EI) it works...

The only thing which have lacking options are NVR camera settings for image, where manual shutter options & time plan settings are missing..
