Having a bit of a brain fart moment and can't quite get my head around this.

For my 2 main driveway cams I'd like to send email alerts but only say between the hours of 10pm and 7:30am, all other settings I want left as they are just want emails during these hours.

I selected Profile 3 and renamed it to Night then within Schedules set the hours after picking Night from the drop down but all this did was edit the overall Default as Now Editing was set to Default. So I created a what ever this is and called it Night.

I don't understand the link between this Now Editing option and the Select a profile to draw as if I leave the top drop down at Default then I get all Green with the schedule and if I select Night from the lower drop down it remains all green?

How are the options Now Editing and Select a profile to draw linked, had a look at the help file and Now Editing isn't mentioned.

EDIT I'm doing this all within the global Schedules, not individually per cam.

EDIT2: If I then select Active profiles within the cam Scheduling tab and only select 1 and 3 (Night) then the cam restarts and is set to 0 which is the Inactive profile?

As I said brain fart moment, just realised then when I grey out the profile within the cam settings I'm actually disabling it so ignore my EDIT2, DOH!

I still don't understand why within the global schedules tab, if I select Profile 3 which I've renamed to Night it still shows all green with Default selected in the Now Editing drop down box?

Just in case it helps others, I managed to get this working by editing the schedules in each cam in the end.

As mentioned above for some reason I had assumed that when a profile is greyed out it was active and it was this mistake that was stopping it all from working.

I now have emails being sent for triggered alerts but only through the Night schedule hours which is exactly what I wanted as this allows me to review the emails each morning to quickly check if the front driveway cams triggered while we slept. Previous to this is was a case of reviewing in the mobile app but getting the email just makes it so much easier to determine and then review if needed.

If I'm honest I'm still not too sure the purpose of the global schedule as after I edit it, Night for example which is Red doesn't overlay on the main schedule which still shows all Green?
