Ptz mini dome with ir

Hi guys just after a discrete ptz cam one which you can't see the actual lense pan and tilt, would prefer people not to know when I am playing with the ptz. I am running a hik nvr and unfortunately hik only sell ones with no ir or the bigger models. Prefer one within the dome case. Thanks John

You can't have a PTZ with IR inside a dome because the camera would have to move so the IR"s would have to move with it. Fixed cameras with IR's have a ring around the lens and it touches the dome so it virtually blocks the IR light from the lens. You can't have anything touching the dome from the inside or it won't be able to move. That's why they make PTZ's with IR's the way they do not inside of domes.
